Syslog

The device can send messages to a Syslog server.
This can be helpful in troubleshooting and debugging your setup.
The messages typically include system events like reboots, or error states e.g. in case of a sensor failure.

Additionally, the last 8 Syslog messages get displayed directly on the configuration site. This works even, if you do not have a Syslog server setup.

Test the configuration

After filling in the form, click on at the bottom of the page, to test the configuration. You should receive a test message on your Syslog server, if the configuration is valid.
