SNMP
The Simple Network Management Protocol makes it easy to integrate the device into network management or monitoring systems such as Nagios, OpenNMS or Zabbix.
The device acts as a SNMP Agent, that can be queried from the monitoring system for its state (Sensor readings and Digital I/O state).
Supported are SNMPv1 and SNMPv2c.
Additionally the device can actively send Traps to the monitoring system in case of an event. This is used for the Notification Feature and also has to be configured on one or multiple peripheral devices, after configuring and enabling the interface on this page.
The Management Information Base (MIB) files for Sensors and Digital I/Os includes nessecary information for the montoring system to be able to query this device. Those files can be downloaded on the bottom of the form. Please refer to the documentation of your monitoring/management system for further information on how to use them.
